Tank trucks, as key special vehicles in the modern logistics system, are indispensable transportation tools in fields such as energy and chemical engineering, and the food industry. It is like a series of mobile "fortresses", carrying the economic lifeline of society, but the goods loaded inside often have high-risk characteristics such as flammability, explosiveness, toxicity and corrosiveness. Therefore, the safety production management of tank trucks is of Paramount importance for safeguarding people's lives and property and maintaining social stability.

By the physical properties of the medium:

Atmospheric pressure tank truck: The interior of the tank is in communication with the atmosphere. It mainly transports non-volatile and non-corrosive liquids, such as edible oil, water, and common chemical liquids.

Pressure tank truck: The tank body is a sealed pressure vessel, used for transporting liquefied gases (such as liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), liquefied natural gas (LNG), liquid ammonia) and high-temperature liquids. This type of tank truck has extremely high requirements for design and manufacturing.

Cryogenic tank truck: It adopts a vacuum multi-layer insulation structure and is used for transporting ultra-cryogenic liquids such as liquid nitrogen, liquid oxygen, and liquefied natural gas (LNG). The tank body requires extremely high heat insulation performance.

According to the characteristics of the transported medium:

Corrosive substances tank truck: The inner wall of the tank body is coated with special anti-corrosion materials (such as rubber, plastic, stainless steel), and is used for transporting corrosive liquids such as acids and alkalis.

Flammable liquid tank trucks: The most common type, used for transporting gasoline, diesel, methanol, ethanol, etc.

Liquefied gas tank trucks: They belong to pressure tank trucks and are used for transporting LPG, LNG, etc.

Powder material tank truck: Utilizing compressed air for fluidized loading and unloading, it is used for transporting cement, fly ash, etc.

Food tanker: The tank body is usually made of food-grade stainless steel, with a high internal smoothness, which is easy to clean and disinfect.Core Design of Tank Truck Safety: Prevention before problems Occur
The safety of tank trucks primarily stems from their excellent design and manufacturing.

Tank structure: Made of high-strength steel, it has undergone strict calculation and testing to ensure structural integrity when subjected to internal pressure, external impact and road bumps.

Breathing valve: Regulates the pressure balance inside and outside the tank to prevent the tank from cracking or collapsing due to temperature changes.

Emergency shut-off device: It can quickly and automatically close when the pipeline ruptures to prevent a large amount of medium leakage.

Anti-wave plate: The partition inside the tank effectively reduces the impact of liquid in the tank during vehicle driving or braking, maintaining vehicle stability.

Grounding zone: During loading, unloading and driving, conduct away static electricity to prevent accidents caused by static sparks.

Overflow protection system: Prevents overfilling during loading and avoids leakage caused by the thermal expansion of the liquid.
