How Does A Bulk Trailer Actually Unload?

The rig runs an air compressor that blows air through pads at the bottom. This fluidizes the dry powder, making it flow like a liquid mush. Because the tank is sealed tight, the pressure builds up fast. Open the valve, and that pressure just shoves the powder right up the pipe.

Usually, a full load takes 30 to 60 minutes, but it really depends on the weather and how dry the powder is. If the tank is sealed well, you get hardly any dust and you don't waste product.
